Sundowners at Andrews Bay February 4th

Just another balmy day on the Upper Left Coast! So Jan PMs us, "Andrews Bay this weekend?" We spend Saturday a.m. getting the limbs and leaves out of the cockpit, and scrubbing off the worst of the winter algae, hook 'er up, and off we go!

Here are Pat, Stacy and Jan enjoying sundowners on the cockpit of Daydream, just about sunset. It is an iPhone pic, forgot to bring a real camera, but you get the idea!

Jan had brought some great nibbles, nuts, cheese, rye crisp or something like that, salami and Chinese BBQ pork. Patty made homemade chili and (Jiffy) cornbread for dinner, and Jan brought out a bottle of good wine. We turned the Webasto way up, and wow, what a way to spend a winter afternoon / evening!

Nice picture Pat. I was out Thursday and Penny and I are planning on a ride down to Chuckanut bay this afternoon for some snacks and refreshments. This weather is unbelievable. We'll have great views of Mount Baker.

Jay, Andrews Bay and Chuckanut are our two all time favorite quick overnight getaway spots! We always go way up by the RR tunnel!

Harvey, not sure what time we went to sleep last night but I slept until 7 a.m. this morning, which is sleeping in for me! Took Baxter in to shore for his constitutional, coffee with Patty, and said goodbye to Jan and Stacy, who needed to get out early. A leisurely breakfast, a great walk around Seward Park (Baxter loves this walk), a little lunch, and back to 40th Street to retrieve. All in all, it just does not get much better than this quick little winter weekend overnighter! What glorious weather for February!

Pat,

On more than one occasion I have had clients tell me they didn't know there was a 6 o'clock IN THE MORNING

Glad you had a good time. It was a beautiful day/weekend.

Chuckanut bay was gorgeous. The water was flat and the mountains were out. What a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon!
