Sundog Adventures 2006

Sundog

New member
Well, I still have a lot to do to get the boat ready for this year and of course it will be good to have a little warmer weather as well. But the Sundog crew did log it's first day on the water in our new Aire Traveler.

It was a bit windy and cold, but we still felt like school children skipping school.

Cool new Canoe/Kayak thingy. I'm shopping for one right as we speak. Am coming up to Anchorage next weekend to do some shopping around for one.
Where did you get yours? Can you recommend some stores that carry that sort of thing?

Saw you hunkered down at the hotel on my way to the boat launch. kept my eye out for you on Sat but unfortunately didn't see you. I lost a huge 150lb halibut that day. Had it all the way to the boat and had a harpoon\user malfunction. Bidarka heard me cursing a mile away. :cat :dog :cat

Nice pictures. You guys get sooo close to those eagles. Who won the fight, your pooch or the otter?

By the way what kind of dog do you own? Can you hook me up with the breeders? My girlfriend loves it.

That is a big fish to lose, but must have been a fun fight.

Abby (our puppy) is called a Vizsla - a bird dog that was bred originally in Hungary - very family friendly and lots of energy and meant to be bird dogs. We bought her in Iowa on the internet - I will have to ask my wife on the breeder. If you buy a male, let me know as I want to have ours bred so that the kids can enjoy the puppy experience and then we can pay off some of the items Abby has chewed up during puppyhood ha!

We will hook up one of these times on the water,

Cheers,

Joe
