Hello All - I have a 2001 22. I understand the areas to lubricate @ the engine end - but what about around the steering wheel and behind - is there points to be "lubed" and if so with what type of lubricate.

Semi-related question. Do I need a steering wheel puller to remove my aft helm steering wheel?

most likely no, but a good soft rubber hammer is in order. do not take the nut all the way of until you have the wheel loose. seen more then one fat lip from removel of the nut.

I have the non-hydraulic "no feedback" steering system - I have looked at the steering system from the V-berth and if there are "lube" points I cannot see them.

I dont know of any lube point on that type system other then those on the engine. the rest of the systemis hydraulic and would not need any lube.
