Standby for heavy rolls

OK, That says something about "Epoch Times Canada" but I am betting that is not in Canada.

If there are people in that boat somebody did a serious face plant there.

Yeah, I agree, I think the palm trees gave it away, notwithstanding, it’s something to watch.

BTW, I think they were on anchor

This was filmed at whats known as "the point" in Lagundri Bay, Nias. An island in the Mentawaii island chain in Indonesia.

The owner of the boat Timotius Wau, runs a surf camp on the island and a surfing charter service. He had the boat anchored in what was a calm area, and left in his other larger vessel to take tourists on a charter to another surf break in the island chain. While away, this swell shaped up to be the largest swell to hit this area in years, and the protected anchorage was no longer a safe place to anchor the boat. The anchor line snapped and the boat drifted into one of the worlds most famous and perfect surf breaks.

No one was hurt except the owners pride, thankfully.

One hell of a right...

I don't see a roll here but more of a reverse pitch pole.

Where are the surfers?

Aye.

Who do you think took the video?! They were steering clear of the boat in the lineup.

If this a roll and there are surfers, they must be
sitting in a Rolls Royce on shore using a tele-lens...

Aye.

It caught her at the perfect spot to catch a great board ride
