Well, this year our oldest child graduated from High School and is off to College so our spring has been filled. So, my goal was to upgrade our CD22 with many of the "wish" list items that I've created. So, here are the items that we have completed:
- all "core" holes have been epoxied and re-bedded
- anchor locker bulkhead installed in v-berth (thanks to idea from fellow c-brat)
- memory foam added to v-berth mattress (thanks to idea from fellow c-brat)
- new anchor roller to handle our #22 Bruce anchor
- new Honda eu2000i purchased (wife doesn't know yet - but wisesales.com shipped it today - hopefully tomorrow goes well)
- purchased new Rotopax 4 gallon (2) portable tanks
- made screens for door and front window
- purchased 5000btu AC for front window
It was very fun doing the projects, but I'm running out of money
- need to get the boat in the water.
Friday we leave for a week to Door County to cruise Lake Michigan/Door County. Then we'll come home and resupply the boat and drive out to the Rideau Canal for 3 weeks. Hopefully at the end of the summer we'll get our Oldest child to come with us on another week trip to the North Channel.
So, not much boating - but the next best thing - working on the boat.
