Hey everyone, I own a 22' CDory Angler and live in Juneau, Alaska. I'm wondering if any of you have experienced a seemingly large amount of spray coming up from the stern of the boat close to the kicker when you are cruising . I have an outboard bracket for the kicker, which gets it up very high out of the water, so that is not causing the spray. One thing I wondered about is that my Yamaha 90 does not have auto trim/tilt so I installed a heavy duty bracket that has the ability to tilt up and down. I got the unit from Cabelas, and it seems to work fine, but now I'm wondering if that is responsible for the spray. If it is flat calm out and I can tilt the motor back, the spray seems to be less of a problem, but when I trim down in rougher weather, the spray hits the upturned kicker pretty hard at times, and I worry about it coming loose. Thanks for any advice!
