Space Saving, Ratcheting End Wrenches

For Gearheaded Brats -

I am always looking for ways to minimize the number and weight of the tools that I carry on C Eagle. I recently replaced a set of SAE and Metric box end wrenches with only 4 total wrenches made by Gear Wrench. This model is called Quad because each end wrench has 4 different sizes in one wrench. These wrenches ratchet (5 degrees per click) and have reversing levers on both sides. I have found them very handy.

These include the most common sizes that I normally use. SAE: 5/16, 3/8, 7/16 and 1/2 in one wrench; 9/16, 5/8, 11/16 and 3/4 in the other. The metrics run from 8 , 10, 12, 13 in one wrench and 16, 17,18,19 in the other. I would like to have seen 14 and 15 in lieu of 16 and 18 but that's just my thoughts; still very handy. Sears ran the sets for $20 each; a very good deal.

The 4 of these tuck into an outside pocket on my Boat tool bad and take very little space. For quick identification, I run an 8 inch screw-mountable tie wrap thru the two SAEs (Black) and Metrics (White). This style of tie wrap can be looped thru the screw ring and back thru the back side of the latch without locking the tie, but will still hold together until you need to release them.
