Southeast Alaska 2012 with Jay, Jo-Lee & the Hunkydory

Jay and Jo-Lee,

What an epic expedition!

The stories and photos you have shared are a treasure that I will recall and revisit.

The harrowing moments when you hung on to Mokai must have taken strength of will even more than physical strength, Jay, similar to Jo-Lee dealing with the vertigo.

It was a relief to read that the waters were smooth as you returned to Skagway, hopefully making the farewell a bit easier.

Loading up and heading home is often bittersweet, isn't it?

Why do I imagine you two are dreaming of your next adventure?

Thank you for sharing so many stories!

Thanks for bringing Alaska to us in it's beauty and challenges! Tough weather this season, 2100 miles in a 22 footer. Lots of whales and bears, I am glad you had no major issues, hope Jo-Lee has relief soon, I have had vertigo and it is no fun. Have a safe drive south. Rest up see you in Lake Powell for some r&r. George.
