South Sound Cruise

I'm going to be spending about a week in the South Sound. Launching at Olympia and exploring Case Inlet and Carr Inlet. I don't know how far I'll get, but I would like to check out Gig Hbr. and Quartermaster Hbr. I will be traveling SLOW on this trip.
Before Ann & I got Rock-C, we have had several sail boats for close to 20 years. I have missed sailing and wanted to get back into it. Well last fall I picked up a small boat, Compac 16, ( I really wanted a Montgomery 15, oh well) I was so busy with work, I havn't had a chance to get it in the water. But I'm getting pretty excited to splash the boat. I have an Old Town Otter to tow behind as a shore boat.
I plan to launch Monday July 18th. and stay out as long as I can stand it. I know it is right after the Bellingham CBGT. I am really going to miss seeing all of our old friends, but with Ann's work schedule, I would have had to tow the C-Dory up there by myself.
So, all you South Sound C-Brats, If you're in the water, keep an eye out for a small sailboat towing a kayak. If you think you may be out during that time, send me a PM and I'll forward me cell phone #. It would be nice to meet up with a familar face.
Have a great time at Bellingham, wish I were there.

Terry, Ann & Chloe,

We'll certainly miss your presence at the B'Ham CBGT but understand about work and schedules. Your new boat sounds like fun.

Take care.
