SOLD - Thinking seriously about selling my 2009 Tomcat

After over ten years of great trips around the Northwest I have sadly decided to sell my Tomcat this spring.

After seeing her at the 2010 Seattle Boat Show, I purchased her from Master Marine in April 2010. At the show there were Suzuki 150hp engines fitted but I decided to have the 175's installed for better performance and the new VVT engine system.

I have made a number of improvements over the years, mostly by myself other than the electronics and the fabrication of the frame for the davit system since I wanted the stainless parts fully polished.

The only thing that isn't fully operational is the watermaker, for which I have the parts but haven't had time to finish.

She is in awesome condition!

She has always been kept indoors except for a few days between trips. I do have a very nice cover for the boat if it has to be outside for more than a few hours.

Ideally, I would like the 2001 Ford Excursion to go with the boat but since it has the much loved 7.3L diesel, it should be easy to sell separately.

I haven't decided on a price yet so I'm somewhat counting on the C-Brats combined wisdom to help me there. :)

Added a few recent photos to my album.

Does anyone know which years of Tomcat had the complete interior done in marine vinyl? Mine has that and I was always impressed with how quiet it is inside and I also appreciated the insulation factor.

TIA

Where is the boat? What is the price for the total package? Recent pictures of the interior? Thank you.

Hi Easy,

The boat is 5min away from me here. The price is not yet determined and I'll get some more photos when I show the boat this Saturday.

Wow what a boat. Not many boats better outfitted on the west coast. Good luck with the sale. If I didn’t just have to restructure my company I would be asking for a price and putting the hitch on my truck and coming down. Taking all of my will power not to ask for a price and going to the bank to get a bank draft!

Is there a rear canvas? I’m going to send it to a friend

Thanks for the comments. Looks like you get some great fishing up there.

No rear canvas. I didn't want to cramp my fishing.

Folks;

I looked at fellow Anderson Island resident Brian's Tomcat, which he is planning to put up for sale. I have fished on and visited many, many, boats in my 67 years (my father was a waterman on the Chesapeake, and I grew up there), including several C-Dorys, Ranger tugs, Boston whalers, and other various working boats. I find it hard to believe that this is a 10+ year-old boat. It clearly has been kept in a garage when not in use, and used carefully when it was out. If anyone is thinking about a Tomcat 255 at the higher end, you'll definitely want to consider this one. Based on what I saw, you'd be buying a nearly-new quality boat.

Rob,

Thanks for the visit and the report. I have added a bunch of photos to my album.

I have settled on an asking price after help from some C-Brats.

I am asking $135K for the boat and for an extra $10K you can drive away with the Excursion too!

Thanks to everyone.
