We have had 5 amazing summers with this well put together boat. Original owner had 27 fresh water hours on the 150...ours has been a mix of fresh and salt (Columbia/Willamette/San Juans/Gulf Islands/Princess Louisa).

The time has come for a new chapter...we are selling our memory making machine to someone ready for wonderful adventures!!!

We had a 22 from 2005 to 2014...here are some of things we like about the 23 Venture: 10-15% better ride, more speed (when conditions are right), stronger roof (can walk on it), more headroom (I'm 6' 2"), etc.

Please reach me via phone with questions at:

Kind Regards, John.

WOW, John, Sure hope we still get to see you at Friday harbor and our on the water.

I would add that this boat is near or better than showroom condition. John is that kind of guy, and this boat has been VERY well taken care of.

Wish you, Amy and Teddy all the best in your next adventure.

Thanks Gary, Colleen and Harvey....very kind of you!!

Yes...Amy, Teddi and I hope to get into another boat....just not sure when and what kind yet...

Just trying to take the first step....my heart rate increased the moment I hit the submit button...

For those looking at the items with the boat I forgot to mention I am including the mantus dinghy anchor that has 5 feet of chain and either 50 or 100 feet of line which all fits in a bag you can throw in the dinghy.

Kind Regards,

John

Drained the water tank for winter....removed the batteries and put on charger in the garage.

Can still show boat and load batteries if someone is interested in a test ride.

Boat is still for sale....just turned the corner into 2020 and thinking about boating again.

Let me know if anyone is interested in a boat for this summer.

Kind Regards,

John

John, if you still have your boat for sale in May, it would be really nice to see you again along with Amy and Teddy this year at the FHCBGT. You could show off your boat there and give rides for people to see how well and smooth that Honda 150 runs. You have a really nice, like new boat that people really need to see and experience to appreciate. Wish the best for you, Amy and Teddy. Gary.

I can't believe this boat is still on the market. It is as close to a showroom boat as you could find anywhere, and it comes with the opportunity to meet Teddy. Oh, and of course, John and Amy are pretty great themselves. A PNW boat that is turn key and beautiful.

John, You guys started with your 22 about the same time as I did with mine. I still remember the roof top dance on the way to Astoria. Just gotta love these boats and their folks.

We have a sale pending on our boat....will be transferring to new owners in the coming weeks.

We will have mixed feelings the day we transfer...so many memories but are excited for the new owners to enjoy coming adventures!!!

Keep us posted. Just sold C-Byrd for the second time. Very mixed feelings.
Awesome boat! I was amazed just how much difference the extra beam width made on the boat. Much easier passing each other with 3 guys in the cabin for sure. If passing your lady, well, the luv aint gone.... but ya may have to reach a little.

Thanks Byrdman....sure relish my memory of boating with you and 11 others on the tomcat when they brought it over from the factory to Blakely gathering!!!!

Think it was 2005 or 2006...my sister and her boyfriend were with Amy and I.

Yes...it will be tough to let her go but it spurs us on to the next chapter which is yet unwritten.

Congratulations John. They will certainly enjoy your boat. The buyer made a good choice in this purchase. Hope to see you, Amy and Teddy on the water again sometime soon if the next chapter involves a new boat?

HI John, And also from here, Congratulations. Do hope you still hang out here and maybe even see you along the way. Now we will have to contract and pay to get Teddy to do that show at Friday Harbor now huh?

What ever you do down the way, stay safe and keep my phone number. Those long hauls can get monotonous.

Our boat has been sold to a very nice and wonderful couple on Whidbey Island!

We drove up Friday and spent the day with them going over all the systems/accessories, having lunch, launching the boat, running over to Port Ludlow and back...what a fun day!

It was bittersweet for Amy and I but we are really happy for them...hope they and their family enjoy good ol' Blue Venture (aka TBD II) for many years to come!

We have been extremely blessed and fortunate to meet so many wonderful folks boating over the years and greatly cherish our friendships!!!

Rather strange feeling to be boatless currently...hmm...what shall we do LOL. We figure this will spur us on to our next boat...not sure what, when or where but we will keep you posted.

ONCE A C-BRAT....ALWAYS A C-BRAT!!!

Best Wishes Always,

John, Amy and Miss Teddi (12 year old chocolate Australian Labradoodle)
