Our interest is not to make money but to get the boat into the hands of
someone who will continue to care and upgrade the boat. I will post pictures shortly.
Yes, the tow vehicle. I have an '04 Chev 2500 HD Duramax Diesel. I only have that truck to tow the boat. So, I won't need it after the boat is sold, so, if a tow vehicle is needed, this one would be for sale. This truck hauled the DoriDaze from South Carolina to Alaska when we did the inside passage; to Maine 3 times; to the St John's River in Florida. But it has high mileage and costs me about 1 -2k per year in repairs to keep it maintained. Bottom line: having a hefty tow vehicle gave me "peace of mind". Although this boat is easy to tow, it is much heavier than a jonboat.
We posted on July 15 while in SC and started to the marina. But we have been diverted for various reasons and I apologize for not being more prepared with the data that folks want. On blogger, I posted a few photos we had on our phones from trips. I will continue to load photos and data such as engine hours etc, there as soon as I get to the marina--probably next week.
I'm shocked someone hasn't claimed dibs and put down some money. This is a great deal.
Bad timing for me. I've been looking for a 25 or 26 Cruiser, this would have been perfect. Got the OK for a bigger boat from the wife, but then she got up close to a Ranger Tug 25, and now we're getting one of those.
I finally got to the marina. There are 350 hours on the engine. I posted the hour meter on the blogspot. I also posted some pictures of the trailer on the DoriDaze.blogspot.com More pics tomorrow.
