Trip Smith, Welcome, and glad you made it home safe. Hope the D card made it with you. As to the trailer brakes, Yup, no controller needed as those trailer brakes are not electric, they are surge brakes which activate when you apply the tow vehicle brakes when both are moving.

Enjoy that Cruiser, and keep us posted on the C-BRATS. Looks like fun to follow.
