I just figured out how to add a "signature quote". Hey, it ain't big red letters but it will do for now......... Although. someday......

I like it, Marty. And if that's really the case, may I humbly ask you all to remove your shoes? Only kidding. I just wanted to see the looks on your faces. Still, our boat could use a good scrubbing.

Marty-

You can use colors and different size print in your signature using the same technique as used in the posts.

You can also include a photo or image, and can also include LINKS to other URL's, again using the same techniques.

You're going to have to ask Don (Sneaks) how to include animated characters, however. How about it, Don?

Joe.

Joe, it puts me at risk of getting shot at SBS for showing you, but it's really easy. It's handled just like any other image anyone wants to post in their signature, it has to be somewhere on the web. Say you wanted to show Pat you're right behind him with posting stats
The code:

Code:
[img]http://www.frommary.com/lightbar.gif[/img]
Paste everything into your sig (or a message) and the result is:

lightbar.gif

Don

Don-

Thanks for the information.

I thought it would be just like everything else, but wasn't sure of how to pick up the address information of the animation.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Joe.

testing-----It worked

Let me see if I've got this right.

First, I signed up at a free hosting site (www.fileave.com)
Second, I found a site where I could submit my scaned signature and get it animated for free!
Third, I uploaded the gif to the free hosting site and the site has a utility which codes and enbeds the gif.
Fourth, I cut the coded gif from the site and pasted it in the signature box
in my profile.
Finally, I've checked the attach signature box when posting.

Yeah right Roger.........check the date of his post...."2006" that was a year ago.

That's ok you had me excited for a moment too. You're forgiven as I'm guessin' that you've still got too much smoke in your eyes!

Too much smoke or heat stroke--
It was 93f at 2:30 pm here on Campus two days ago

Roger

Phil-that signature is beautiful! I'm gonna try talking to my computer-heck it worked with my kicker. Maybe I'll take Tyboo advice and get some kid from junior high to help...."hey, kid"l

Right now it looks like the server at fileave.com is down soooo no animation.
You can check out mikesattler.com for the animation.

OK. I finally learned how to put a picture in the body of the message. How do you put a small one in the signature? Do you have to add it each time?
