If you happen to have a copy of the 2007 Boaters World catalog, please look on page 597. In the right column is a description of a "Side-Step" Boarding Platform" I'm interested in. It's not at boatersworld.com nor on any other web site I have been to (this is why I asked for the store URLs.) If you have seen this item in another store please point me to them -- and if you happen to have a URL for the manufacturer that would be even better!

Thanks!

Yes! How did you manage to find it that quickly? Sheesh.

Thanks so much,

Hi Folks,

Thank you. This might be just what I was looking for.

I have a ladder on my starboard stern which I use to get in and out of the water. One day I took a few of my grandchildren and one of my daughters out to Georges Island in Boston Harbor. We were not able to land because they wanted us ti tie up stern to. The problem is that there was no way to get over the engine. I decided that I could make something that would work, and you came up with what might be the answer. Only problem I might run into is that my stern is a bit rounded. I shall check this out.

Thank you. It is things like this that make this C-brats site great.

Cool, but this looks like it should be an $89 item, not $249...David, got any plans to fabricate a couple of these puppies?

Hey, it's a marine item, so of course it's $249.

I bought one for Lake Powell so when I get back you and David can borrow it if you want.

It's "stainless" and "teak"...of course it's worth $249. In fact, they're darn near giving them away. Try to buy a teak garden bench and see what you spend. Then buy a stainless side table for it. :smilep
