Daisy, talk with TUG. He had one and went through a lot with it before he replaced it. He may still have it if you'll eventually need parts. Look here...

I've had experience working with older aircraft radar. The symptom you describe is the antenna position sensor is no longer telling the screen its position. PROBABLY a cable connection between the antenna and the display. Check for anything loose or corroded. It could also be a BAD position sensor and you could be talking big parts and labor bucks to replace or fix that.
