SeaTow

I'm impressed! Today, my 22 footer decided to not turn over. Checked battery, charger, and finally called SeaTow, expecting/dreading a 30 mile tow. Instead, they offered to drive out first and diagnose the problem. Soon diagnosed I have a rusting salanoid/starter. Tapped it a few times and wah-lah...she starts....for now. I'm not taking any chances. It gets replaced next week.

It's nice knowing these guys are in my hip pocket if needed! Do I hear an amen, CaptD?

Also met Mark and Nancy at Portland's Riverplace, who are Tomcat 25 owners and part of the Brat pack. Nice people....great boat!! They told me how helpful Dr. Bob was to them during the purchase and thereafter. That's one more affirmation why this is the best boating site on the net.

Greg - it was great meeting you as well!

Thank you, Mark. It would be worrisome if I forgot your name but remembered your wife's.

Were you on the Willamette this afternoon? Whitecaps galore. I was wishing I had your boat.

Milehog, Thanks for the link. Bitterend was an interesting diversion. Hope we never have to see the "other" end from him.
