Seat replacement for 2005 C Dory

Greg, sorry for the delay, I was on the road. Thanks for the really great reply. Super documentation. The seats look great, and they should last well. I would think they are using pretty good vinyl, and I know Bently does some nice seats with vinyl and they say they last "as long as you own your boat" is what the Bently guy told me at the SBS.

I would like my seat to have a taller back and sit more upright. This looks like a good place to work from.

We put some time on the seats this weekend plus two more nights on the boat. I was curious how they would feel in use and whether the cost was worth it. Yes it was! We both felt immediately like we were in a different boat and I don't even need to swivel and put my feet up to find a comfortable position. The added height and support is really in another league. Visibility was also improved with that added rise. Don't hesitate to change out a seat that doesn't please you, and feel free to come by for a test sitting a Friday Harbor this May.
