Sears cut its prices on the Craftsman Microtork Torque Wrench in 10-75 ft. lbs. 3/8" drive, model no. 44594, (pictured), 20-150 ft. lbs., 1/2" drive, model no. 44595, or 25-250 in. lbs., 3/8" drive, model no. 44593, to an in-cart price of $35.99. Shipping adds $4.99, or choose free in-store pickup. Even with shipping, that's $44 off, $6 under our June mention, and the lowest total price we've seen for all three. Sales tax is added where applicable.

Craftsman lost my torque wrench business back in 2005 when they dropped the lifetime guarantee and calibration services.

The only torque wrench with a lifetime guarantee to my knowledge is Snap-On. There may be Matco and MAC options but I have not had good luck with Matco torque wrenches. My MAC guy was a *tool* so I don't really have any experience with MAC.

Snap-On are the only torque wrenches I have had since 2005.

Snap-On stands behind their torque wrenches and offers a calibration service. Sure it costs $$ but it's not that much if you need to have a validated reference device.

Craftsman sells some pretty nice nice gloves though . . .
