We are thinking of coming to the boat show from Victoria and using my Alaska Airline points for a quick flight. Just wondering how far it is from Sea Tac to the show and ease of bus or taxis from the airport. Thanks in advance for any help.

Terry,

It's about 20 mins from SeaTac to the Century Link Field (where the boat show it at). It's maybe $35 by taxi. Alternatively, you can take the train from the airport to a few blocks from the show. The cost for that is only a few $'s.

Wow. This may work out great as using a few of my points with Alaska it is only going to cost $88 return for Valerie and I. We have not booked a hotel and I just need to confirm tomorrow for the actual flight. 25 minute flight , how good is that!!. If it is all good I will take you up on the generous offer and let you know tomorrow or Monday for details
Thanks

As Marty wisely pointed out the Seattle Link Light Rail is a wonderfully efficient, clean, quick, and seemingly very safe and inexpensive way to get to the downtown Seattle area from the airport.

The only possible negative, depending on your health, is that there is a bit of a hike (short, flat, and always under cover) from the airport terminal to the SEATAC Light Rail station.

If indeed you had health issues that limited your mobility this could make using the Light Rail a bit of a pain. Otherwise, if you have no such limitations, the Light Rail is likely the most optimal way to go.

Take care,

Thanks Dan. We have booked a flight and the light rail will be the way to get to downtown. I am just going to email Roger regarding an extra room he has booked

We"ll miss the SBS as we are still south by then, but it looks like C Dory will be really well represented this year. Triton is showing as an exhibitor as well as a new dealer and Master Mariner. Along with Pat's visit to the factory and seeing a full house this is great news for the brand. Given the amount of attention Kerri On generates down here, a lot of folks like the boat and didn"t know they existed. Great job.
