SBS Gathering at Snoqualmie Falls Taproom Friday 1/25

Well, between that really great Root Beer and Sam's talk, some good food and some really cool people, I am going to figure out how to get there. Looking forward to seeing you all. Stay safe.

Speaking of the local LEOs - don't mention my name if you get stopped, it WON'T help! And in Snoqualmie, the speed limits pretty much mean what they say!

Something like that...

And BTW, deja vu all over again! Hawks v Skins! Isn't this where we left off a few years ago? If you are free next Sunday, Charlie, stop by the Taproom wearing any item of HAWKS attire and get a buck off your pint! SKINS attire and it cost two bucks extra!

An extra 30 days?

Pat, the game is here, why would I want to come there!? You come here and I'll provide the tickets to the game. Bring beer, lots of beer, for the 'Hawks fans to cry in!! :beer

Should be a great game, hope I can stay awake!

Charlie

You want to come here so you can watch the game on three big screen TVs in the warmth of the Taproom, silly boy, why would you want to sit out in the cold in DC??

Should be a good game, we both have awesome rookie QBs, Russell Wilson is just the most composed, articulate, talented guy to hit Seattle for just about - oh, forever...

As things get a little closer we need to get a good count of who all will be at the Taproom and who is planning to ride in the van. Based on what I can find in this thread, the SBS thread and PM's, here's who I think will be at the Taproom on Friday.

Name Boat Name Guests Riding in Van?
Roger and Joyce Bumgarner Meant to Be 2 2
Tom and Susan Elliot Susan E 2 2
Joe Sea Wolf 1 1
Larry Q and Cathy C-Ya 2 2
Ron and Son Fishfinder 2 2
Sam Landsman Dauntless 1 0
Terry and spouse Shellback 2 2
Pat and Patty Anderson Daydream 2 0
Rob Bauerlie Robbie's Refuge 1 1
David Anna Leigh 1 0
Scott Boysen Triton Marine 2 0
Marty Lizzie II 1 0
Greg and Cindie Aurelia 2 0
Chromer Checkpoint II 2 0
Harvey Sleepy C 1 0

So by my count, that's 24 attendees with 12 riding in the 15 passenger van. Please let me know if I left you out or if you plans have changed. Once we get really close, this list will determine how much catering the taproom does so it's important to have an accurate count.

As an aside - I'm glad I wasted time putting in spaces in an attempt to format the above information into a nice table. I did have nice columns prior to hitting the post button, but the site strips out all the spaces. Does anyone know of a good way to create a table within a post?

The admins or others might respond with a better answer, but until then....

There are ways to do it in phpBB, but it requires some custom BBCodes to be created or to allow HTML in posts (which is potentially dangerous).

From what it looks like we have at our disposal on C-Brats, your best option may be to use the [code] BBCode. The [code] tag will preserve your white space to some extent. Ex.

Code:
Rob 0 0
Roger 2 2

The other alternative I can think of would be to create a table elsewhere and link to it. Ex. Google Spreadsheet made public

Taproom List - Google Spreadsheet

Or, the last approach would be to create a local spreadsheet and just post screen captures of it. Ex.

Sorry to say that the C-Change crew will be missing this one. We had a great time last year, but this year I am in Fort Lauderdale for all of January helping my mom recover from hip replacement surgery. Hope everyone has a great time and looking forward to seeing folks out on the water this year.

Rob,
The BB and HTML codes for tables are disabled so that wasn't an option. I didn't think about the idea that the code tag would preserve whitespace.

That's probably the best idea. Don't know why I didn't think of that.

So here's the link to my current list of who is going to the Taproom.

We'll hoist one for you and Stace, Jan! Take care in Florida!

We'll also have some door prizes available at this function. A few books donated by Sam and his company and a XL (or perhaps XXL) C-Dory Jacket plus perhaps a few other items.

Count us in. We had a great time last year.
We are flying out to Florida in the morning and will be back in time to make it to the taproom.
Retirement is tuff. I don't know how I ever found time to work.
