I'm not sure if this has been reported yet, but I wanted the site to be aware that Richard Enderle (aka squidslayer, DickE [coastside] has passed away. I never met the man, but he gave me a ton of advice when I purchased my tomcat 255 last October. He offered his many years of knowledge to me and I am grateful. Sorry if this was already posted....he was a legend in my waters. RIP DickE!!!!!

I heard from Dicks wife today and she wanted me to pass on some information to Dicks friends out of Bodega Bay. Dick passed away the 25th after catching a nice Halibut at 11:30 . After landing the fish Dick was pretty tired and went in to lay down for a few minutes. After five minutes his friends went in to check on him and could not wake him, he stopped breathing. They started cpr and then the Coast Guard came and they also started cpr but they couldn't rescuitate him.
Later this summer his wife wants to bring down his ashes and drop them in Bodega Bay for a memorial and hopes some of his friends show from the fishing community . I'll be there and I know there will be more people also. I'll keeep everyone posted.
