Rusted Trailer brake lines

When doing a routine check of my 2006 EZ Loader trailer I noticed some of the brake lines are badly rusted, usually where there are dissimilar metals, i.e. brass tee fittings and steel lines. A line on one wheel is even showing a little brake fluid so I need to replace those lines. I understand there are flexible brake lines available as well as stainless steel and the
usual steel lines. Has anyone done this? Does anyone know of a source for the flexible lines (they'd be a whole lot easier to install). Basically I am seeking information from the brat knowledge banks.

Depending on how long they are, NAPA has the flexible ones that usually go from a hard line to a caliper on a wheel that turns (front wheel) on a vehicle.

Many of the hard brake lines on my 2001 Dodge 2500 had to be replaced. They almost all rusted out and I don't live in an area that has a lot of salt on the roads in the winter!!

Hi,
I coat my steel brake lines, the fittings where they go into the calipers and the bases of my bleeders with Marine grease. It makes then less likely to rust, corrode and easier to remove come the day.

Barry another source I'd try is SixRobblees. They have trailer parts galore. They may even be able to tell you over the phone. Let me know if you'd need me to swing by the Everett one to pick something up etc. It's on my way home from work.
 
Thanks jennykatz for the tip. I just ordered their flexible hose set (80326) through Northerntool.com for $60. I need to get the boat off the trailer for a couple days and rework one brake assembly a little (I hope) and then install the new hose set. I got a snazzy vacuum bleeding setup from Harbor Freight and I tried re-flaring a damaged brake line end and refilling the system but I think there's a problem inside the brake casting or slave cylinder or ?
The TrailRite trailer I got with my C-Dory has been a disappointment in a couple ways. The brake installation wasn't strain relieved properly and the idiots built the trailer with the bow roller BENEATH the bow eye on the boat. That turns out to really suck for getting the boat off the trailer. I talked to the dealer a couple times about taking the trailer back for rework, but it was going to be a nuisance forcing them into it, so I made up a couple of metal plates to raise the roller and it's good now.
