Running the wallas while in tow

I'm just wondering if it would be ok to run the wallas stove while towing it? Would the outside wind cause a problem?
 
Flapbreaker,
I have never run the Wallas while towing, but I have used it while the boat was on the trailer. Be careful of the exhaust on the carpet of the side-guides! After partially melting the carpet on mine, I made a little aluminum slip-on shield which has worked ok so far.
 
I'm curious: why would one want to tow a Wallis heater? And, if you do, since it's metal, I assume it'd be under water, so the wind would have no effect.

it would probably get up on plane if towed fast enough
 
Absolutly not!!!! did it once and got black soot all down the side of my boat. It doesn't vent the exhuast while going down the road. Short trips at under 25 mph are okay, but hiway speeds are a no go. Brooks

Journey on, I thought the shiny metal might attract some fish while towing....

....and if you caught any fish on it, they'd be cooked and ready to eat by the time you arrived at your destination! :roll: Life doesn't get much better than this!
