While rubbing out gelcoat with a power buffer I discovered that the logo doesnt like that. It buffed off the color and left the plastic base. In trying to peel it off found it to be extremly time consuming picking it off a square sixteenth inch at a time. Any suggestions? Vern C-Dog

Vern-

Try using a heat gun (or hair blow dryer) to heat up the adhesive below the plastic sheeting. Should peel off.

If the plastic comes off, leaving the adhesive behind, use lacquer thinner, acetone, or Goof-Off as a solvent to dissolve it.

You can get new decals from the Triton (C-Dory) factory, though the new one(s) may not match the old on the other side of the boat, but do you know anyone who can see both sides of the boat at one time without a mirror?

thank you joe, that worked well. she looks kind of naked now without the logo. Vern
