Rogerbum, Dusty = Same Age!!

Yeah, Roger! Happy Birthday! :rose :cake :gift :rose

Although you're a little more than half Dusty's age, I think I still like you almost as much!

You're a great friend! :smiled

Dusty is an institution!

And I wouldn't trade either of you in a newer model unless she were young and well....................! :smile

Joe. :teeth :thup

Thanks guys. While I'm a little more than half of Dusty's age, if I can accomplish half of what he did during his lifetime, I'll be a happy man. Today to commemorate my 50th, I went out for a 50 mile bike ride. We rode from downtown Snohomish through Arlington, over the Stilliguamish river, past the river a couple of miles and then returned via the same route. Burned about 2500 calories but replenished many of those at the Oxford Saloon. Great burger, onion rings and 1.5 beers.

Roger, Happy Birthday. 50/50, nice touch. I noticed that you didn't say that you rode a Half Century. Sounds so, well different. .

Roger, Wow! This is certainly the month for a lot of C-Brat birthdays. Happy 50th to the oldest scientist that we know.....just had to say that :)
Sounds like you had a really wonderful day.

Best wishes always,
Ruth and Joe

Happy Birthday Dusty and Roger! Hope you both had great birthdays! :cake :cake :cake

Roger, as I was heading out of Arlington today, I stopped at the cross walk near Haller Park so a guy riding his bicyle and towing a trailer with a toddler in it could have safe passage....but obviously it was not you. (I've been meaning to bicycle the recently completed trail north of Arlington, but haven't done it yet. I'll be glad when they complete the connection of the trail just south of Arlington.) Bet that beer tasted great at the Oxford..... :smilep .

Happy Birthday, Dusty and Roger. (Had to do it that way, they say age comes before beauty, you know.)
