I have purchased a new c-dory 19 Hull only. am going to power it with twin honda 50's.
have rigged several boats in the past but always on a try and see basis.
This time would like to do it right from the beginning, am looking for advise from all of you ,of what you would do different if you had to do it all over again.
thanks for the help George Belter

You already have the pair of 50s and trim tabs? Major issues for me and twin engines are the requirement to get them synced exactly or the harmonics will drive me nuts, and the double maintence two engines requires.

Only a few 19s around, look in the photo galleries for how some of 'em are setup.

Today I was at the factory in Kent and they are rigging up a new 19 with twin Honda 50's. This is the first 19 that I have seen set up with twins. (The twins are lighter than my Suzuki 90 by about 20 pounds.) They put on Lemco tabs that are about 12" long by 8" wide. My tabs are 12" wide and 8" long. The narrower tabs free up more room on the transom for the twins. I wonder if the shape of the tabs will make a difference in the performance? The new 19 is to be in the water in the next few days.
