Hi all, new to the forum.

I have had a delightful red 16’ Angler since 2018, and it’s time for a new main. I’m replacing an early 2000s 4 stroke carbureted Yamaha F40 with a fresh F40. The old motor runs great, but has a persistant oil leak from the drive shaft bearing that my mechanic says will cost more to repair than the motor is worth.
I’m sure somebody handier than I could fix this up, or use it for parts.
My, probably dumb, question is; Is this worth messing around putting it up on Craigslist, or somewhere else? If so, have any thoughts about price. Motor has less than 500 hours.
