Replacing Original 12 Gallon Fuel Tank

Hi,

I need to replace the original 12 Gallon above deck diesel fuel tank that came with my 1995 Ranger 21 Tug. The tank was made by Todd Enterprises and is the 200 Model. It is made of the poly material. I've talked with Todd and Ranger and no joy on finding a replacement. I can't find anything on the market that's close and/or it would require cutting-out the support wall on the platform that holds the tank. The dimensions of the tank are:

Length-18 in.
width -14 inches
height -12 inches

If you know where I could locate a tank please let me know.

Thank you

That is a small tank--and there are a number of custom tank builders in Florida. I suspect that they want the business with the new boat manufacture's down and some builders leaving the state. I had a tank made at the tank builder in Jupiter Inlet Fl--I know that is a few hundred miles away--but if you send a photo with exact measurements, they will build the tank and ship it to you. Take out the old tank--and use it as a size pattern for the new Aluminum tank. See David Pascoe's web site on replacing Aluminum tanks. If you cannot find it, I'll send you the proceedure.
