Those are some big reds! This was also a good red-fishing year for us down in Galveston Bay.

So, Marc...from your blog, it sounds like it was all catch and release? How about a little catch and fillet? :lol: Those puppies make good eating?

Pat , In Florida its a slot limit of 18"-27" and one fish per angler per day .The smallish fish we measured was 28". However , in Alabama you are allowed one oversize per day . We ended up with two in the Bradley Smoker to share amongst the families . It was perfect . Yes they are good eatng , the slot size fish are the best but none of them are bad......
