Raymarine gets on the solid state radar bandwagon

It's also got an ethernet interface (I looked at the brochure.) This makes it a candidate for display in OpenCpn on your PC. I'm glad to see them do it. Of course Raytheon, their original parent company, was and is a leader in radar.

The specs are similar to those of Navice, with their CHIRP radar.

I sure would look at the installation instructions before I ordered it...
I installed a new system two years ago and Raymarine had all sorts of special cables and adaptors that were extra and cost rediculous prices... like $50 for a 8" cable and $25 for a cable termination plug ...and I needed about 6 of them..all they were was plastic plugs but you had to have them... they managed to get an additional $350 out of me..
