Raymarine C80 & Navionics

I have a Raymarine C80 chart plotter that uses a Navionics CF card. The latest Raymarine software is also installed on the plotter. The current 2GB card is several years old and only covers the US. Since we are hoping to cruise into Canadian waters later this year I want to buy the new 2GB CF card that includes all of US and Canada. I've read several conflicting reports as to whether or not the classic C80 can run the new card. I know many Brats still use the classic Raymarine chartplotters. Any of you running the newest Navionics card that covers the US and Canada? If so, any problems encountered - any advice?

I've engaged Navionics in a couple chat sessions recently about hardware compatibility. They seemed quite knowledgeable.

Have you checked out their compatibility list? It lists the C80, albeit at the bottom as having "Limited Chart Size Capability". Whatever that means...
