Raymarine C80 E80 software upgrade

I am having problems accessing my chart with my Raymarine C80 it is a 2005 model I am sure it has old versions...I just looked and the latest software version is V504

Hopefully it will get my C-80 running again...everything works fine but no local charts....

I have an older Raymarine and the last time I got a new chart card it didn't want to work till I said less detail.

Joel, seeing this post gave me quite a start! As you know, Don Anderson, "Sneaks", as we knew him, passed away very suddenly at the end of September 2010. I had not thought about him in about a year. He originated this thread.

Hope you get your chart problem fixed. If Don were here, he'd be the first to offer help!

My gosh, I guess it was 2010...seems like just last year we lost Sneaks...Yes I agree he would have been the first...it's amazing that such close relationships have been made by the simple purchase of a boat...I hope you all know how we feel about you, our family of friends.

Have the upgrade problem on my new to me 2005 22! Found a 64mb CF card on eBay, loaded the upgrade on it and followed instructions. Plotter did nothing with the card in the slot. Can't find the version of firmware in the menu. Problems with the ST6001 AP as well. And yes, this an old thread. Had a c80 on my 94 22, no problems with it or the S-1000 wireless AP but I installed them myself. These were installed for original owner by Les at EQ Marine so I know they were done right, at least in 2005 :roll:

Maybe I need a 16mb card for sure? I'll tackle the AP problem next, probably needs "recommissioning".

First places to look for C80 MFD?
