You are right Joe. I remember that too, from hearing about it at the C-Dory factory Dinner in 2005. Not to say it can't be done, but should it? A couple of weeks ago on my way to Port McNeil for fuel, up on the north end of Vancouver Island, Andy and I (buddy boating) were passed by a group of about 7 PWC's doing 30 plus knots, in lots of boat wake chop seas. They are a group of "charter" PWC's that someone leads on a trip to Ketchican and back to Seattle. Can they do it, sure, is it a good idea, maybe not, but there is some level of safety (if not sanity) in numbers.
