Ranger Tug name question

Being "almost" a Ranger Tug owner (in about 4 weeks) I have a question about the name of the company who manufactures the boat I'm about to take ownership of. Is the official name of the company "Ranger Tugs"? On the company's website at the end of the ABOUT section under the president's name it says Ranger Tugs. However on the internet I also see references to the name "C-Ranger Tugs" which I'm assuming is referring to the same boat? And the url c-ranger.com also takes me to the same website. So what is the difference in the two names (other than the letter C of course) ?

Also, I'm going to guess that there is some connection between C-Dorys and C-Rangers and Rangers as it can't be a coincedence that the "C" owners tie up here at the C-Brats dock. Are they the same company? Too many C's. I'm confused. Could someone take a few moments and provide some brief history comments for those of us who are newbies to the C-Dory/Ranger/Brats family?
Thanks.
Ed

Quick history . The boat you are getting [Congratulations!] is a Ranger Tug . The boat is made by Fluid Motion. That is the official name of the Livingston's boat building company . The C- confusion was initiated by an approximately 1 year marketing agreement between C Dory and Ranger Tugs , some boats said "C Ranger Tugs" on the them . The agreement is history ,the boats are now "Ranger Tugs" .That is the Campbell's soup version .
Hope that clarifies the broth.
