ranger 25 question

Do any Ranger 25 owners have the combination electric/propane cook stove on their boat?
If so, any feedback on the unit would be appreciated. The stove has an electric burner on the left side, and a propane burner on right. I assume it is fed by a small screw in bottle.

We have one, but have not put it to use yet. You are correct about the small propane bottle that screws in. Looks to be fairly easy to use.

Thanks Nancy,

I'm contemplating a purchase, and this unit is on the available boat.
It is mounted in a different place than what is shown on the Ranger brochures. It is kind of in the middle of the counter, so that when you are standing in front ofit, you are looking at the starboard side of the boat, with a rack mounted on the wall.

That is where ours is mounted. Takes up a lot of counter space..... We ended up storing our microwave on top when we are docked. I move the microwave to the table when we are underway.

The positives are you don't have the wallace system to maintain and you have extra storage without the fuel tank for the wallace in the starbord storage area in the stern. The existing heater while you are underway works great.

For us, we use the microwave almost exclusively. But with this great tug, we may start to anchor out and I will have to contemplate my culinary options!

Thanks Nancy,

I will know in about a week if my deal goes through.
I am selling my C D 22. It has been a great boat, but i think the R 25 will be a better fit for me.

The boat has all the basic needs..air, thrusters, generator, 110 Yanmar.
I'll add electronics and a bimini.
