I am thinking about moving my C80 display to under the electronics shelf, and using a Ram swing arm mount upside down. Has anyone else used the Ram Swing Arm? If so, what is your opinion? I have a Ram ball and socket style that my Lowrance unit is on, and it seems to be OK...

TIA,

Steve

I use Ram mounts for my gps on my motorcycle...strong and safe...you can buy them at West Marine or Cabela's

I used a RAM swing arm mount for a Furuno CRT radar--weight several times that of the RayMarine. No problems over 35,000 miles of sailing--the one I used was the double swing--and moved the heavy radar over 24" from one position to the other.

I have use both the double ball, single ball and Laptop mounts--all have worked well. Great products.

Les put my E-80s on Ram Swing Arms as part of my winter refit project. I have yet to try them out but am fully confident that they will work well, as he has used them many times before.
