From a reliable source, :lol: The Swinomish Channel Railroad Bridge will not be closed June 8th -12th for repairs as the parts will not arrive until sometime in July. :crook
 
Welll thats good to here after I told the folks it would be closed. How sure are you on that jack? give me a call. The folks will be up on the boat starting that week and will need to know.

BTW, when I was fairly inexperienced and just not paying attention, we went right under that bridge. Luckily, it was low tide but was I surpised when my 8' VHF antenna scraped the bottom. :oops:
 
I've been under it quite a few times in the Whaler. Even on high tides I can get through as long as a fold down the VHF antenna. I just have to make sure no big waves are coming...
