No more lurking this forum, i'm legitimate now. The boat is currently in Alameda, CA. Once the trailer is ready she will be brought down to Santa Barbara, CA.

Congrats! You're going to love it. The Tomcat is both a great fishing machine and a good boat for cruising. What's your plans for her?

Rogerbum is almost completely right, as usual...the TomCat is a great cruising boat/expedition-quality trailerable pocket yacht, and a good fishing machine. I'm looking on EBay for a used Spongebob Zebco 202 with a shark hook to stick in a rodholder just to make his point even more obvious. Anyone have one for sale cheap?
Cheers!
good fishing, Rogerbum!

cmetzenberg-
You are going to LOVE the Tomcat. We have a 1997 24' Tomcat and just spent a week up in your neck of the woods. Here is a video of all of the Northern Channel Islands. We happened to hit an ideal weather window and made it out to San Miguel island.

If you ever head down towards Catalina, let me know. It would be great to meet with with another C-Dory owner.

Congrats on the purchase.

Thanks guys! Wow Tim that is an amazing looking trip. I'd love to meet up with who ever is in the area. So far i know of only one tomcat owner in SB. I've seen a few dorys around the harbor.
