Problems posting photos

I have been trying for two weeks to update my albums. I continually receive an error of "invalid photo". Is there something that I might be doing wrong? They are jpeg files and I do everything the same as before. Any help would be appreciated.

I've only had that happen when trying to post a scan of a scan on a the recent Veterans Thread. When I found and scanned the orginal photo it posted ok. Wondered at the time what was meant by error and invalid photo and the connection to not posting. I to was using jpeg files.
