I'm not real good with the computer..too old to learn... I guess. But, how does one post a snap shot with a post or reply on this sight? Anyone willing to share that with me? Some of you share some really great pictures.
thanks

Try a search on this site, A good Exp. not too long back.

Here's my saved generic reply:

  • A quick tip for embedding pictures in messages. Find the picture you want in your album (or anywhere on the web), click on it to bring it up full size if needed, then right click on the pic and choose Properties. In the Property box will be the URL for the photo. Highlight the whole thing (make sure you get it all) and copy it to the clipboard. Then when typing your message, paste the URL, highlight it in the message box, and click the Img tag at the top. That will put the tags at either end of the link. You can click Preview to ensure that it works.

Oh, yeah, here's the quick tip: The biggest mistake most people make is copying the URL for one of their pics from the address bar. That link is too durn long, and rarely works with the Img function. Copying the link from the Properties box gets you a more concise URL. To see what I mean, right click someone's embedded photo, choose Properties and paste the URL into the address bar and click Go. All you will see is the photo on an all white page. Cool.

And another tip, at least for Windows and IE, is the triple-click. That will make sure you highlight the entire URL even if part of it is hidden as is often the case in the Properties window.

No, he doesn't. Go to photobucket.com and set up a free album there. Then you can put snaps there you don't want in your CD album and use that URL in your replies or posts.

Is there a reason there shouldn't be an album here?

No, no reason at all but you already have one. Thought you wanted to post a picture that wasn't in it or you didn't want to be in it. You can create a "nested" album and put it in there just fine.

Charlie, Steve Grover does not have an album for his C-Dory, Gizmo...if he does, it's invisible to me! Best put that wine down for a bit
