Plasteak cabin sole partner?

We are interested in putting the Plasteak Teak & Holly flooring in our 22 cruiser cabin sole. I just spoke with Sarah at Plasteak and I gave her my information for a 36x72in piece. It takes two 1/2 orders for them to split the role but they will do that. So if anyone else is interested in getting some of this for their boat please give her a call at 800-320-1841 and she will handle all of the logistics for both orders. It will run you about $135.00 plus shipping. If you search the forum for Plasteak you will see several pictures of this product installed in C-Dory's. It looks great and based on feedback seems to hold up very well.
 
I can only reinforce the information stated above as far as quality goes. We have had Plasteak in Valkyrie's cabin for about three years and Plasdeck in the cockpit for close to a year. It comes with a 25 year warranty against wear and looks great. The company is located close to us and the people are very responsive and friendly. I know from talking to Bill Gribble, the president, that their products go into some of the upper tier boats out there. We have pics in our album, somewhere at the bottom of page 5 and the top of page 6.

Just a note: we have not used an adhesive to glue the Plasteak to the floor, but just laid it on the sole. In our experience it does not slide around and this way it is very easy to remove to clean. We just toss it on the dock and scrub it down with a long-handled deck brush using Simple Green in hot water. It cleans very easily, too.

BTW: Shouldn't we have a special "personals" forum for someone looking for a sole partner?

Oh, about five minutes! Actually, the Plasdeck is more of a complicated install as it comes in individual strips, so I just took my floorboards to them. A couple days later it was done. I have seen boats backed up to the building, too.

Looking forward to seeing you on the way back to OH from FL.
