Hello,
Pelican is now officially sold. I will leave the buyer to announce himself when he is ready. We will miss all of you. C-Dory people are so friendly.

How do we move to the sold department?

Thanks,
Tom

Mike & Brenda Byrd have bought "Pelican" from Tom & Marge. hope i am putting this in the right spot!!! :D heck, we done put 12 hours on the little darlin' and spent the night on her! :love :D Pelican has a new loving home and she will be enjoyed for many more hours to come. as soon as we figure out how to properly do so, we would like to christen her "GYPSY".

Mike and Brenda, welcome aboard!!

You'll find lots of help with christening/renaming (we have formal (sort of  ceremonies) , your own picture album, advice (whether you want it or not) and lots of other stuff you may not have thougt of yet.

Again, welcome....

Charlie and Sally

Since no one else has said anything...

Tom, no reason to leave this group just because you sold your boat!

Mike & Brenda, welcome aboard! I'm sure you will love your new home away from home. ;)

HEY - HEY Brother Mike and Brenda! :D :D :beer :cigar
Man it is just too exciting to see you and "B" up, owning and enjoying a C-Dory!! I could tell by the look in your eyes after the Cumberland River Cruise/Nashville gathering last year that it would not be long. You both deserve it for sure. On the name, as we talked on the phone....C-Byrd has not officially been used on the 18 Angler, and as we descussed, I think I may have a more "fitting" family name for her... C-Byrd is yours and B's if the two of you wish. If not, how about C-Gypsy ??? I like the C. Anywho...... Thanks for all the many hours and times we have enjoyed together, and for sure the times at night on the waters. I am truly appreciative of all the work you and B have put into me. Ya know, I have not always been perfect as I am now.....some of it is the result of years of prayer, time, laughs and tears from and with you and B. I really look forward to enjoying time on the waters together with you and B on our C-Dory boats. Love Ya'll Man.... wish you could be in Seattle again this year, but tottaly understand with all yall have going on. See Ya around the 16th/17th of Jan06 and we will get us a picture of two of the three Byrd-Brothers on our C-Dory boats. Now, we gotta get busy with JB.

Tom and Marge --

My, we have shared some marvelous hours together on the boats through the years and we fully intend to continue sharing more hours on boats with you good folks.

For you folks who may not know, several years ago we were pulling Halcyon to begin a trailer haul together with Marge and Tom to the Arkansas River and a tandem float down that river when El slipped on the boat ramp and broke her leg. It was Tom who brought our truck, trailer and Halcyon to his back yard when we headed off to the hospital in the ambulance and Marge and Tom who sheltered Bill and showered El with love and kindness during her stay in hospital and rehab. It was these good folks, met originally through our joint C-Dory ownership, who made our winter stay in Kentucky so enjoyable. They were joint participants in the First Alabama C-Dory Gathering and the First Kentucky C-Dory Gathering!

You two will always have a place in the C-Dory world and in our hearts! Keep all of us posted, on these pages, about your new doings -- we'd all love to see you at another Gathering or to head out cruising again with you folks. With our love -- El and Bill
