Peace arch border crossing - height issues?

I'm going to be towing the boat into Canada early Sat. AM and crossing at the Peace Arch border crossing. If I recall, navigating the nexus lane with the boat and trailer is not advisable as things are tight and the lane is narrow. I also seem to remember that there is plenty of vertical space. On the trailer, the boat plus radar is about 12' 3" tall. Can anyone else confirm that there will be no height issues at the crossing? E.g. we don't need to use the commercial crossing to assure we fit through correct?

I never paid much attention to the height issue, but we use the commercial crossing at Blaine most of the time anyway because it isn't as busy. Donna just went up last week, though, and said they are doing construction at Blaine and the lanes are narrow and winding so Peace Arch would probably be better for you. Here's the number from Canada Border Services website, call and talk to a human and get the skinny on what will work for you.

We encourage you to listen to the recorded messages before pressing "0" to speak to an officer.

Officers are available Monday to Friday (08:00 - 16:00 local time / except holidays) should callers require additional information.

Roger,
Agreed the lane is tight and is not aided by inconsiderate people whodon'tlike you passing them while they wait :-(
Apart from that the height is not problem. We have been through a number of times.
The first time they did not know what the clearance was so we had two officers walk thought with us.

Nexus is well worth while here as we have been home on whidbey before non nexus people were through customs
