Not boating related at all. But I wanted to share it anyway. This is our gran-daughter, Nevaeh. She is a singer/musician. She has been singing since she could barely walk. Little did we know then that she would be capable of this, at ELEVEN. Enjoy...

Thanks, Harvey! Mom pretty much does the videos.

She absolutely loves it! Been playing piano for 5+ yrs and then added signing/voice lessons and then guitar. She is even messing with an old ukulele' her dad has. The kid practices for hours, every day. Not work if you love it, I guess. And she does. She has the dream of doing it professionally. We'll see. Tons of competition and it's a hell of a path. But the more she does it, the better she gets. The band says she acts/sings like a "seasoned pro". It still amazes me.
 
I just went down the U-Tube track and there are a bunch of songs she does and it looks like she has fun doing it. I liked the "Mamma's Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up to ....." That one was fun.

Wow! After watching that first video, I watched a half dozen more - that kid can sing! Eleven years old - impressive! That is from a guy who started playing guitar at 11, started making decent money with a band at 12, and fed my young family for the first years of our marriage with that guitar and a mic. Probably should mention that I did quit college first time around to go on the road with a horn band.

Going professional? She has the talent and sure seems to have the drive. I can see it happening for her.
