We have crossed our T's and dotted our i's and now it is time to order our new Tomcat 255.

We are getting the Med Blue and all of the grab rails. Between the twin Honda 150's will be the dive platform.

On the hardtop will be a Polar Cub AC with a forward RADAR mast with LED Navigation lights

Up front will be the windlass and a nice chrome or stainless anchor. Bling.

All of the electronics will be NMEA 2000 so will be the engine gauges.

I am going with SIMRAD NSS 12 EVO for the helm and a lowrance HDS 9 for the Admiral. The EVO will have auto pilot, go free WiFi, with the NAVIONICS Platinum plus mid atlantic chart package.

The Sonar will have structure scan, side scan and down scan sonar and a real nice 4G HD RADAR.

We are adding the XM weather module and a Fusion AV700i stereo and DVD player.

On the arch we will have 6 rocket launchers and TACO Grand Slam 170 outriggers.

The radio is going to be the ICOM M506 with embedded AIS.

I am not thinking about the price tag as much as i should more like why save it any more when I can spend it.

When the ADMIN updates the boat model years with 2015 I can update my signature. Sweet.

It is going to be so nice to get a new boat my first one. My first brand new anything this big.

I will be headed to bed to dream more about it soon yeah sleeping and dreaming about boating how nice.

Congratulations! I hope you enjoy your new TomCat as much as we do. It sounds like you've really thought it out and are equipping it with some great gear. After three years we now have nearly 400 hours on ours and after another summer on the Chesapeake, we'll have it towed down to the Keys for our third winter down there. We've also cruised Lake Champlain and the 1000 Islands in Canada and New York.

Good luck and sweet dreams! It's a great boat.

Congrats! The tomcat is a great boat. Take some pictures when she's fully rigged. I'd love to see how the outriggers are installed and get your opinions on the install after you've fished with them a few times. Outriggers are on my list of things to add to our boat.

We received a brand spanking new 25 cruiser last month. Like you, I was doing a lot of dreaming of boats.
Guess what?
They don't stop! :D.
Have fun and congratulations on your new beautiful boat.

Just curious, but how long does it take to get a boat if you order it new and it has to be built? I'm interested in the built time, not the time waiting for your position in queue to come up.

Thanks for all the well wishes. Interesting about the fire i just heard from another manufacturer i was interested in telling me about it.

The old production time was about 4 to 5 weeks.
