Oracle Speaks

Saw the Oracle off the ferry dock the other day. You're right, it's easy to spot, but don't look for a boat. All you see is the mast, a black vertical line about 160 feet high and five feet wide.
Answer to a question asked: It will miss Deception pass by about 16 feet.
Answer to a question not asked: I have a fantasy dream about taking Oracle through the locks in Seattle. Lockmaster standing on the pier with a chainsaw in his hand, yelling "Which part do you want to go through first?" Then the fun begins. You would have to chop the mast by over 20 feet to get under the Aurora bridge then another 10 feet to get under the Freeway bridge.
Fun stuff to think about.
Just another thought: If I added up all the sail area of every sailboat that I ever owned, it would just about equal the area in the mast alone.
