Oldest Son free diving in Cook Inlet

Great video! 0ne of the things I'm hoping to use my new Cruiser for is a base for freediving/spearfishing in SE AK (once the dust settles re: cross-border travel). Spearfishers in Alaska look few and far between - I'm always happy to find more of them.

Quite a little group in the Homer area & even a charter.
Coldwater group?.

Cool. Well, more like cold. In a previous life, I spear-fished a lot. But that water was like 78-80F in Hawai'i and I was much younger then. Kudos and thanks for sharing this...

Surface temp was a nice balmy 49 deg. F 2' under is probably closer to 36* F
Thank god I am toooo Old for that!! :thup

Nice work. Can't wait to spend some time spearfishing down here in Victoria. Pesky sea lions!! That has to get the heart beat going!

Great footage! How are the currents where you dive? I know they can be pretty strong out in the main fishing grounds where we fish for halibut.
