My boat neighbor with a 31 foot Silverton has admired the non-skid on my 01 22 foot C-Dory- Wants to install a similar aggressive non-skid on his boat-

His question is whether the non-skid on the C-Dory is a mat or gel coat that has been molded-Anyone know how the non-skid is installed on the C-Dory?

It is molded into the gelcoat.

There is a product out there that will allow the molded in non skid to be applied using a resin and a negative mold to go over it.

Probably expensive, and I can't remember the product name.
