nissan frontier mirrors

We swapped out the F150 for the frontier in 2012. It sure does a fine job of towing the boat but being a bit narrower, it's kind of a pain to see who's roaring up behind me or what I'm fixing to back into. I tried mirror extension but found that they shake around so much that their rather worthless.
After adding a bigfoot camp trailer to our fiberglass towable fun fleet I thought it would sure be nice to up grade the mirrors so went on the hunt.

found this discussion on some replacement mirrors, ordered me up a pair from A1 Auto and reduced the TSL (Towing Stress Level)by ten points.

I use a backup/hookup camera hung on the inside of the Cabin door and it shows directly behind the boat and both sides from the splashwell on back.

The mirrors show the sides OK.

Harvey what kind of camera is it wireless ? or do you run a wire ?what brand and cost $ thanks . We need it for a fiberglass rv and for our cc23 backing up on our property to many trees .Jim

Good mirrors are essential for towing!! Thanks for the lead, Ken, on telescoping mirrors, I'd love to loose the clip-on's. I don't have a Frontier but they also have mirrors for my old F-150. Harvey's boat mounted back up camera was a revelation --good to be part of a group with good brains!! I never put the idea of a camera on the boat/ trailer together. I frequently tow by myself and Riley my dog is not much into help backing into tight places!! The camera opens a whole new world! I googled " i-Pad compatible rear view camera" and was blown away by the avaibility of wireless camera setups for less than the cost of a single mirror! Not replacement for good mirrors but a great addition!!!
Live and learn!!! Thanks one and all!!
